Sailing from spain to canary islands in october with a 12 meter yacht. Wind speed was around 10 knots. I positioned the recorder close to the railing at the starboard side. Recorded with an olympus ls-12 and a rycote wind shield.

Sound recorded in china at the yangtze river in nanjingrecorded with internal stereo speaker of tascam dr-40 in nanjing (china) in october 2015 on the yangtze river. There were some big cargo boats passing and the voices of some chinese tourists.

Whilst being very uncreative and recording myself burp, i found some interesting sounds when changing the speed of the tracks.

Large ship 40 metres long boat with engines running. M/v blue horizon, operating in the red sea. The engines shut down about 1 min in leaving the sound of the power generator and air conditioning. Recorded with a contour+2 camera.

Good on sub-woofer.

Hamburg city harbour #1. A metal bridge over two pontoon piers is squeaking in the light waves of the elbe river at the hamburg city ferry terminal "fischmarkt", sound of the waves hitting the pier are audible as well. Blends well with the other 2 recordings of the "hamburg city harbour" pack. Recorded with a spaced stereo pair of km184 into a sd788t, 48khz, 24bit.

Arcade ambience.

This is beach sounds taken at fort myers beach in florida. The audio includes seagulls, waves crashing and breaking, and close up sounds of the water rushing up on the sand. Recorded with a roland edirol.

This recording was made on a warm, clear day in early june right on the sandy bank of the mississippi river -- between illinois and missouri. You hear the low, strong surge of the diesel engines as a barge slowly passes through and, what i find most enjoyable, you hear the gentle lapping of the river as the waves reach the sandy shore. You also hear various birds, including the common red-winged blackbird. Even though this recording was made around 3pm in the afternoon, you also hear a low chorus of insects adding to the relaxing summer-like ambience. A very peaceful, yet strong soundscape of a majestic natural wonder that’s been here for millennia. Recording made with the zoom h4n, using the built-in internal mics.

This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Large, creaking wooden ship sailing on the ocean. The creaks are recordings from my wooden (very creaky) house. I live at the sea, so that part (the waves) was easy.

A kite string in bali. They fly high up in the air and i thought it was a helicopter (there are none in bali). My friend here was trying to get the material to be more in tune by swinging it around.

Small regular waves falling on the gravel lakeshore of the bodensee (lake constance), which is the largest lake in germany. This lake is so large that - as you can hear - it has some 'real waves', which sound very relaxing :). Recorded on an iphone 7, aug. 2017.
