High sound sweep hissing.

Recording #1 of my own shirt flapped, snapped, whipped, waved etc. If you pitch-shift this down (or slow it down) it can sound (imo) indistinguishable from, say, a large flag or large sail being pulled and snapped in the wind. This had recording noise removed, and silences auto-trimmed, with auto-regions from that trimming generated and saved in the file (handy for selecting a sound region easily or exporting regions as a lot of separate sounds). I request but do not demand attribution to me for use of this sound.

Using a frequency filter by setting its oscillations in variable arrays i was able to make most of these sounds. Also vocoding and feedbacks and feed throughs were happening. Then they were altered in audacity.

A sound for a science fiction background or for a trance/electronic track. It is a slowed down, distorted recording of a high-speed machine with other rackets inside. Recorded on zoom h2 on highest settings for wav files. (chirping sound heard on freesound disappears on full downloaded version. ).

On deck aboard a baltic sea car ferry bound from rostock/germany to trelleborg/sweden. It is late evening, and the ferry is cruising clear of the harbor into the open sea.
