Yep, analog filters. . . Everything is analog!no, wait the reverb is digital. And this recording. But the noise that reaches your ears is analog. My little modular synth is playing a patch just for you. Or world is a big ad/da converter!!!. I failed at the fade out. . . Sorry for that.

Basicly the same patch ashttps://www. Freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/395016/. I let it play for a while then i start "doing things". . . It's not beautiful but its what it sounds like when you playwith a modular synth. Think i'm done with this patch. Unpatching time.

Yep, i'm reading allen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 5. 20 modules involved. The ending is just modular freak-out. . . Whit the turn of one pot. . . Leading to some nice sound fx.

No fuss 3 stage asr (analog shift register) patch. I sample from a quantizer but still its not exact pitch. The sound start with a short decay. I will gradually increase the decay time of the three sounds.

I let both the vco (intellijel μvcf) and the uoki-toki polivoks vcf play a little melody, the same. The vcf is in self-oscillation and cv1 at 100%. It does not track perfectly, but could be useful.

Modular diary 2018-11-13. Struggled with an idea i had. I wanted random chords. Outcome. Just boring. Involved many patch cables. Mixed the sound with radio noise and"a creek in a forest" by nikeranhttps://freesound. Org/people/nikeran/sounds/321471/.

A funny patch i made on my little modular. Unedited sound file. I'm creating tones with a clock divider and a mixer. I insert a little chaos in to the tone sequence. Constantly changing "melody". And the bass is connected to the melody. . .

A morphagene reel culled from an improvisation i made on a eurorack modular synth. Qu-bit electronix scanned is the sole voice here. Splices in the reel are ordered from somewhat delicate (taps, pulses, etc. ) to pretty chaotic noise. All recorded into a zoom h6.

Doepfer a-119. Maybe not the coolest module on the market. But i have plans for this little friend. Bought it used. "module a-119 (external input / envelope follower) is designed to allow external audio signals to be integrated into the" (from doepfer home page) modular synth. As delay i use joyo analog delay.

Machine composed electronic music. The result made me think of a pedestrian crossing. I desired to mix my sound with a field recording of a swedish crossing. A recording madeby dobroide. Thanks. Here's my second flute reel for the make noise morhpagene. This is how far i've came over the past few months in my playing and despite a few slip ups here and there i'm quite pleased with how i'm able to make it sound now. Would love to hear what people do with these samples as it is quite humbling to know my playing is in people's modular systems across the globe.

10 minutes of old school tension or horror sound. An ever changing sound generated by a analog modular synth. It's a generative patch controlling the synth and the sound development. The reverb is a spring-reverb. No editing. Pick the part that fits you best. Or just listen and listen to what the synth is doing. . . I have my fav part!.

I decided to bring my wind chimes inside and recorded them with an mxl 910 microphone into my computer using a focusrite scarlett 18i20 interface with the gain turned up a bit. I then chopped 15 samples i liked from the entire recording and formatted them into a make noise morphagene reel containing 15 splices. I am very pleased with the results, especially when patched into clouds or using an eventide space pedal for example. Enjoy!.

Using an lfo, mixer, exp vca, envelope generator, cycling envelope generator and spring reverb to create strange sounds. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is about 28 sec - cycles. . . Another sloth lfo test. I wanted to see - expected to see - cyclesrepeating. I don't. I have x controlling frequency and y controllinga filter. This recording is 5 minutes so there should be some repetitiveness. . . It's a regular sloth. . . I see 48 second cycles but they are not the same. Cool. Chaos.

Test of how uoki-toki polivoks vcf handles sin-wave. I tune the module i use as sin-oscillator (intellijel μvcf) to ca 270hz. I connect it to uoki-toki polivoks vcf. I let a sin lfo sweep the filter, cv1 pot at ca 70%.

This is part of a set of samples demonstrating the capabilities of the diy version of the hexinverter mutant clap module (eurorack/modular synth). Of particular note is the noise bleed present in some hexinverter diy products as discussed on the muffwiggler forum. Except where noted as "with vca," all samples are recorded without added effects or processing. "with vca" samples have been tidied up with an envelope modulated vca. One may choose to see the bleed as a feature or flaw. . .
