Group kmm-this is a recording of someone walking outside. You can hear their footsteps. There is wind noise. Recorded with a zoom h4 handheld recorder, high gain.
Walking quietly through well packed snow. The snow was on a plowed, unpaved road in tabernash, colorado. I was wearing size 10 toms canvas shoes. The recording was done on an h6 with the standard xy capsule.
Me walking and then running up and down creaky wooden basement stairs, with mic positioned on stand a few feet away from roughly the middle of the stairwell.
Field recording made in boston's city hall plaza, summer 2005. Lots of miscellaneous crowd noise can be heard: footsteps, random chatter, and so on. There is also some construction being done nearby, so the noise of construction machinery backing up is also prominent at certain parts.
Simply walking through a snowy forest in a temperature of about 10 degrees below zero (centigrade) with microphone pointed at feet. Recorded with a zoom h1.
