In a basement i recorded noises made with a big glass plate. Rattling, shaking, scraping on the floor, etc. Recorded in stereo with rode nt4 in zoom h4 handy recorder.

Doing the dishes. Recorded with a sennheiser mke 600 shotgun mic, an mbox ii and macbook.

This recording is done with the roalnd r-26 on a trip to barcelona chirstmas 2013.

Not a shatter, just a crack.

Sounds of an 1,5 mm aluminium sheet sized 2x1,5 meters. There's also some sounds of paper the sheet was covered with. The recording starts with me sayin "blacha aluminiowa" whitch means "aluminium plate" in polish. Captured with zoom h2 @ 96khz/24-bit.

Washing dishes.

Ceramic dish (and pieces) smashing on a wooden floor. Four examples, the last one on a very close perspective. 48/16 stereo, normalized -3db. Zoom h4n, built-in mic.

Reverberated chain-on-toned metal drop. Almost sounds like a manhole cover.

The sound of washing up by hand. The sink is run then glasses and cups are washed up followed by cutlery and crockery. Finally pots and pans are washed before the plug is pulled.

Slamming a plate down so that it spins, and topples.
