A recording that i did on a shoot for some ambient sound while in a small 10' motor boat. The motor runs for a little while but then turns off and the sound of the boat just floating in the water can be heard. The mic is moved around a bit to get a few samples of different perspectives.

It's me jamming a bit using my epiphone's explorer (tuned to drop-d). Recorded with a zoom h2 via mic-in and a jack cable. Unprocessed an undedited recording. I tried out some licks and chords. I'm not a good guitarist. Nevetheless, this might be a nice recording if you're making an animation about learning musician, or a game with a band member rehearsing alone in a room, or if you want to just chill to my little jam session. This should be mono, but i calculated the difference between left and right channel and it is not zero. So i uploaded it as a stereo file. Could use some denoising. There is some silence at the beginning so you can do that if you need.

This is a simple sketch, where i played on electric guitar just for fun through a little guitar amp [pignose], some simple rock riff with solo part. It`s not a quality record, so i adding "lo-fi" in a name trek. Temp 77 bpm.

It's a 15-minute long drum improvisation. It contails a lot of different beats and rhythms played so you might cut-out some loops for your needs. The kit has:- single kick- snare- hihat- 3 toms- broken crash that sounds really short- ride. The kit was old and not in perfect condition. I also used my sticks to play on some other part of the drumkit, like metal stand for the crash etc. I also got up and stated running around in a circle hitting sticks together and afterwards hitting drums and cymbals while running around the drumkit. I took my shoes off before i started so you can't hear my footsteps. I didn't use a metronome and i know i don't hold the tempo and it's a bit wiggly sometimes. I think this performace was inspired by band mr. Bungle. I recorded this with zoom h2 handy recorder's front stereo xy mics. It was standing on a table about one meter above the floor. Facing the drumkit and me. It was captured into a 48khz/24-bit wav file, then i trimmed the ends and converted this to flac using audacity. No processing applied, though i think it sounds nicer when you put these effects:. 1. A compressor:-attack: 10ms-release: 50ms-ratio: 2. 5:1-treshold: around -24db2. A reverb:-decay: 1. 5 to 2 seconds-dry: 0db-wet: around -15 db. It amazes me how much energy compression actually adds to drums!. I made this with my podcast (http://unfamusic. Com/fnr/) in mind. Water flowing from an above-ground stream into a sinkhole leading to an underground cave. Recording captures the gurgling of water running over rocks along with the deeper, bassy rumble of the underground chamber.

Medium sized waves recorded sitting on a groyn (no giggling - that's the name given for a construction of wood or rock going out perpendicular to the coast to avoid erosion or longshoredrift)from whence i could get the gurgling of the water as well as the crashing of the small waves and the sucking and pulling of the stones. Recorded on a minidisk with an sm58 from what i recall.

Some generic song that i made in fruity loops a year ago.

Recorded this on a sunny evening at the cote d'azur, near toulon. Two iphones approx 4 meteres apart (it was all that i had). Syncronized and merged to a stereo-wave in reaper. The moderate waves move the stones of the beach and create an awesome sound. It was practically windstill, so i did not use a lowcut. Enjoy and tell me if you use it! that would be awesome.
