A digitally created thunderstorm using a yamaha keyboard. The clip last for about 2 minutes. The rain isn't heard until the end and doesn't start until like a minute and thirty seconds in or so and lasts for only about 30 seconds. Recorded with a yamaha keyboard and audacity. My fourth recording.

Recorded on 23rd july 2013 with an olympus ls-10. This was about 04:30 in the morning and has been edited with audacity (two takes have been put together). The location is essex, uk.

Early morning, crossing the bay of biscay in a force ten gale, the whole cabin (high up in the ship) creates a symphony of sounds. Engine noise in the background, plus a cacophony of different stresses on the woodwork and fittings of the cabin.

My first upload to freesound is a thunderstorm recorded in gateshead, uk, next to our open bathroom window. Some lovely thunderclaps and rain. Recorded on a zoom h5. There are also some household sounds swimming around in the background, doors closing, dishes clinking etc; i think you can hear the radio or something very faintly towards the end -- but there's plenty of clean usable thunder and rain in there. Incidentally i often use this type of thing in my long-form instrumental music, produced under the name conelrad. This is a recording of the wind whistling between the cracks in the window, creating very unpleasant unpeaceful atmosphere (with occasional very quiet blind scratching against the window). Made with canon camcorder.

Added some delays, reverb, compression and eq as well as splitting several tracks and offsetting them to create a spacial soundscape.

Recorded a near lightning strike using a vive surround sound mic and an h4n zoom recorder. The audio file was edited in adobe audition. The surround sound effect should play in any dolby surround sound system. This was my first attempt.
