Sounds like a passenger jet landing that is relatively close. I made this in audacity by recording myself blowing into the microphone, then distorting it and stretching it to sound like a jet.

This is my competition entry for earth. It is comprised of copies of a kick drum recording and a high hat recording i've done with some phase vocoder processing. This short sound is really about 7 tracks of layered audio.

This sound is a mix of analog sound and digitally created sound. I recorded the sound of a coffee machine. Then on audacity, i generated a tone and modified its envelope. I changed the levels, added effects as reverberation and echo. I put melted at opening and closing in purpose to pretend something was taking off and landing. At first i wanted to create the atmosphere of a spaceship. But after that it looked more like a vacuum noise. I tried to modify amplification and added again echo and reverberation to make it sound more like a weird ufo. Strange sound can be heard from time to time in pécel, hungary especially when warm front appears. You can hear it in the beginning, calms than gets louder again at around 0:45 and fades out after 2:00. Sometimes become louder and calmer. I do not know what it is.

I've actually been frustrated with the lack of earthquake-type sounds, sooo i attempted my own. Not very good. It consisted of different items making different sounds, then slowed down, pitch change, some reverse, some echo, blah blah blah. It's a mess, but that's what rumbling is supposed to be, right? also, depending on your speakers, this may be very loud. . _.

Small rocks tumbling down a steep hill. We got in the van and drove down a rural road. On the side of that road, we found land with its topsoil removed, stripped also of its plants, but there were lots of rocks and a small cliff where rocks could tumble down. The location where this audio was recorded in arkansas is shown in a video of our family adventure. We found where whittington creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs.
