A lower pitched snare from combining a lower tom and a white noise snare.

The sound is made by layering noise synths, sample of a tom drum, clicky kick sound with the sound of basket ball bouncing.

Back to normal. Nothing really special here excepting the unusual tom sound that seems out of pitch.

Various plastic tubes, boxes and containers recorded with tascam dr-05 and mastered with audacity. No added effects except compression and minimal reverberation.

808 style bass with heavy distortion and tremolo with a loop. Tuned to e1 and the tremolo is at 154. 5 bpm. Was too cool to keep to myself xd, want to see what others can do with it.

A mid-summer recording of the shawnee national forest in illinois featuring the singing of two popular summer visitors: (1) indigo bunting and (2) white-eyed vireo. I really enjoy hearing these calls because, while beautiful in their own right, they also signify the soon-to-be summer coming to a close. Recording made on august 6, 2022 at about 2pm in a clearing surrounded byseveral dozen black walnut trees, and, beyond those, thick, midwestern, insect-laden summer woods. Walking quietly through well packed snow. The snow was on a plowed, unpaved road in tabernash, colorado. I was wearing size 10 toms canvas shoes. The recording was done on an h6 with the standard xy capsule.

Just a mixture of multiple samples i created over time. Layering a swish noise which was basically a white noise sample with an eq envelope, lowpassed snare, and a not-so-highpassed clap, compressed and saturated. Enjoy!.

We needed some drum cadences for julius caesar and i was unable to find any i really liked so we grabbed our orchestra drummer here at the theater and we came up with 13 different cadences for us including jfk's funeral march. Most are done on snare and then again on a single tom, easily looped for duration. They have no verb on them so you can add as you desire for your space. Very bass harmonics for kick (to be played in parallel) and at lower volume for snare and tom bass harmonics. It was created by filtering a 60 hz sine wave (remove all the high frequencies but also the extreme low).

This is an electric guitar loop i constructed in logic 9 using musiclab's realstrat and realeight. Nice plug-ins. Check out prominy if you are looking for even more realistic virtual instrument guitars. 106 bpm.

I recorded these samples after recording a loop of the famous think beat. I used mapex big rock kick and toms and a mapex daisycutter snare along with zultan 15" raw hihat and a zultan 20" dark matter crash.

It is a very high pitch screech/yelp.

This is a synthesized melodic contour of a short excerpt of carnatic music. This sound is basically used for a demonstration of the importance of loudness and timbre in melody.
