After many years of 'lurking' on this website and downloading and using sounds for my projects, i am happy to hopefully contribute something useful to this site. I am not a professional audio tech or anything related, but i do own a zoom h5 recorder and had to make some recordings for one of my multimedia projects. This recording was made at the harbour of scheveningen, the netherlands on february 7th around 22. 00 pm.

A hostage, a lightbulb, a camera. A hard conversation and a lot of uncomforable silences. This sound is part of the weird roomtones and silences soundpack - a compilation of synthetic ambiences and silences meant to enhance a neutral atmosphere in the desired direction. The filenames usually describe an imaginary situation that i imagine would need the particular roomtone, often influenced by movies i've watched. >>>> you can use the soundpack as you wish, but i'd be happy to hear your feedback. This happened by accident: some stuck notes in a vitalum patch with alots delay and white & perlin noise lfos.

A generic intro sound sequence designed on 80's hardware.

Chinese restaurant (portugal) about 10 x 10 mts large with 20 people inside. Sunday 9pm. Chatter (portuguese + other), chairs dragging, some noise from the street behind the big glass window in front; noise from the kitchen (cutting vegetables on wood, frying on wok, chatter in chinese). Mic pointing at the center of the room. In front a big avenue (door closed). On my right/behind is the kitchen on an open space. Recorded with zoom h4n-pro 48 khz / 24 bit. Use freely on your personal commercial and non-commercial projects. Don't put this raw sounds/files on youtube or anywhere else. You can use them in creative way as a part of art-form, but not "re-distribute" as (royalty free) stock material. Thank you.

Breathing sound effect i created for a recent production of carries war. The sound is originally 40 seconds long but looped, as the play requires the sound fx to be present throughout a number of scenes fading in and out.
