This is a foghorn-like sound that i created using an accidentally recorded poot from a friend. I stretched the sound bite a few times while lowering the pitch, added a couple different reverb effects, and then finished it with some parametric eq, raising the bass, and using a low pass filter to cut out the high frequencies. If you would like the original poot sound, i have also uploaded it as fart sound 1.

Sound of a large, long, mooring rope fastened to a large cleat, holding a ferry boat at a dock on san francisco bay. Recorded with a sony mz-rh1 mini disc and unmodified panasonic wm-61 electret condenser microphone capsules.

The sea was fairly choppy/rough and this is a recording of the waves crashing against a break water/wall with some occasional spraying sounds. Theres a great stereo effect of the waves hitting from left to right. Could be a good sound for any on boat/stormy sea needs.

This is a mono recording of a trumpet mouth piece played through plastic plumbers tubing then pitched down. The first take is dry and the second is soaked in reverb.

Recording #1 of my own shirt flapped, snapped, whipped, waved etc. If you pitch-shift this down (or slow it down) it can sound (imo) indistinguishable from, say, a large flag or large sail being pulled and snapped in the wind. This had recording noise removed, and silences auto-trimmed, with auto-regions from that trimming generated and saved in the file (handy for selecting a sound region easily or exporting regions as a lot of separate sounds). I request but do not demand attribution to me for use of this sound.

This is the helvetia paddle steamer boat of cgn fleet. It was moored to be renovate and repaired. Little waves make the boat pitch and the big metal rope linking the boat to the quay is producing these nice metallic noises. 48khz schoeps.
