The bass melody was produced by applying a modulation to the frequency of the bass. Not much has changed from 003.

Created using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ). Here i have used zynaddsubfx for the hoover type sound and 3 instances of glitch2 vst on the drum loop that i created. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also. ( i used a higher resolution samplerate to export this file, which created a further glitch effect on the glitch2 vst,i believe it is maybe hardcoded to 41000hz or perhaps lmms can't handle higher sample rates on vst plugins ).

Some quick changes - and i get this.

Bass drum one-hit wav samples of a circuit bent roland dr-550 drum machine.

Dubstep bass: 110 bpm wobble at 1/8th note, half of the samples as a sine lfo and saw lfo descending. Sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2. Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.

Acid bass: 110 bpm c2 note, not your typical saw/square basslines. High sweeping filters in parallel with lfo routed to certin parts sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random presets, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down. This one has an extremely thick bass that pulsates crazily. At the same time, it sounds like a low tom sound.

I changed the synthesizer's ranges and played a bit with reaktor's structures until i realized i was playing with the frequency range. The result is a radically different sound that sounds more like a machine.

Back to normal. Nothing really special here excepting the unusual tom sound that seems out of pitch.

A chair i moved over a stone tiled floor. Keeps getting heavier and noisier, quite eery in the end. Recorded with sony tcd d10 pro ii & sennheiser md21u.

Working on a sample pack with drum samples and a few one-shot synths.

This is a looper i made in cubase with a vst instrument called rubber duck. Added a reverb and delay. It runs over several breaks at 112bpm. Hope you enjoy :).

Loud bassy rush of sound being sucked out of a room.

This is a simple dry (no effects) 4 track recording with just drums bass and 2 guitars. The reason i use 2 guitar tracks is to fatten the sound. It could have been done with just 3 tracks but this is the sound i shoot for in my rhythm tracks.
