We were having a small rainstorm, so i thought i'd go out and record the rain. As you can see, (or hear!), i got much more than that! this is the complete original audio, all unedited. It sounds as if the lightning struck at least three times! enjoy! (i know i do!).

This is a recording i took in my back yard on the 4th of july 2014. There are the sounds of crickets as neighborhood fireworks being set off faintly in the background sounding almost like a war zone. The house is off a busy street, so there is also some traffic sounds. Neighborhood dogs bark at the fireworks faintly in the background.

I made this sound on my way to college!really easy movie sound! made with 3 reverse instruments layered and processed!. If you enjoyed the sound leave me a message or a comment!. More coming up!.

Inspired by herbertboland's cinematicboomnorm found here:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/herbertboland/sounds/33637/. I decided to have a go at making something similar. This is the version with amplification added. I just felt the amplified version gave it more "umph" but decided to ultimately leave it up to whoever decides to use one of these sounds.

Made in audacity with a couple of sounds from audio stock site. Can be used as a big distant explosion.

A neighbor of mine might have just peed in his pants if he couldn't shoot off his illegal commercial fireworks before the fourth. So, july first, his manly outpouring of window-rattling bomb blasts echoed across an entire valley. For nearly two hours. I like fireworks. When i go to see 'em. Not so much when i can't get away from them. Sure, i could have gone shopping, or out for a drink. I recorded it instead. This particular explosion is just the largest of those that came after i started recording. It's just a lowly iphone but it does pretty well. Admittedly, even with no amplification it might have been too much for the microphone. You have the clear launch sound followed by burst and echo. The same blast kicks off the other fireworks file i am uploading.

Once again, my neighbors are burning fireworks in my street and in their yards about 20 minutes after the state of hawaii entered 2019! i recorded this with my lenovo laptop's built-in microphone in my backyard.
