A live recording of a 100+ choir in rehearsal. Recorded using a matched pair of rode nt5 for the left & right with an additional akg c451 for the centre. The idea of this recording was to capture the way a choirs sound fills a room. Some minor addtional eq has been used in the 35khz range boosting by 1db to give the performance a little oompf.

This is a raw field recording of a small manmade waterfall in enschede, the netherlands. The construction is about a meter high, two meters wide and twenty meters long and is covered with water. Recorded with a zoom h4 and a rode ntg-2.

A 24bit 29khz stereo recording of quite a rowdy sheep herd in a field. Has some very faint wind noise, but if used as ambiance it would not be noticeable. Soldier's from the royal electrical and mechanical engineers (reme) training on hankley common in surrey, england. Recorded from fairly close to the action with a zoom h3 using the standard microphone. Spoken voices are from the instructor and a group of elderly orienteering runners who blundered into the middle of the battle. Weapons mostly 5. 56mm sa80 rifles and 7. 62 gpmg. Note the crescendo of firing as the assault goes in.
