Sliding, opening, and generally rustling a medium sized cardboard box. Recorded from within. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 for my own use but hopefully someone else finds it useful as well!.
The sound caught my attention and i thought others might find it useful. The sound comes from a small cardboard box with a glossy exterior being removed from a slightly bigger cardboard box causing the little pop at the end.
The sound of trying to open a box without succeeding. As heard in our episode "the snurfs" bonus 107 (comedypodcast. Net). Recorded using audacity on a mac with a blue yeti microphone.
Accidentally, dropped a metallic rod onto my wooden table while trying to record some audio with it. My mistake is your gain. Recorded on a blue yeti microphone through audacity at 16bit 44000hz. Attribution appreciated but not required.
Me shaking and turning a small cardboard box, mostly empty but still containing some nails and other metal bits. Recorded at my deskslightly edited to reduce background noise.
A brand new macbook box is so tight that lifting the lid won't open it; you have to wait for the bottom to slide out and drop. This results in a vibration that sounds a lot like a strange fart sound.
Large cardboard box falling onto ground. Edits into one-shots. Stacks with other from bundle into a good crash. Recorded with shure ksm32 and buzz audio arc at 24bit and 48khz. Requires editing.
Recording of me punching paper taped to a cardboard box full of vhs tapes in plastic shells, using a tascam dr-05x. Silences between hits removed in audacity, used as sweetener for piñata impacts.
Recorded fast with my smartphone (motorola defy) to have a sound for clothing a cgi coffee cup. In fact it was made with a schoko nut cream cup, out of similar material like a coffee container.
