This is a mono recording of a psaltery. This was recorded as-found with no tuning or cleaning done to the instrument. It is a series of single tones followed by two note chords. Dissonant and full of texture. It was recorded using an audio-technica at875r microphone at 48khz/24bit.

This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. This is a piece i put together using maestro for android. It took me about 90 minutes to do. If you haven't heard of this app, you need to take a look at it if you are a musician. The voices are pretty good in the free version (which i used for this), but i've read that the premium voices are better. Still, some of the free ones are really good. Use this piece as you want, but i would appreciate credit for it if you're going to post the work you do. Please leave comments on anything i've done here.
