Nearly 15 min of children playing and screaming in a school yard in central copenhagen(denmark). Not any obvious language though. Has a natural ending when the kids go back to class. Zoom h1 and mastered with supreme analog gear.

This is a ambisonic recording made with a sennheiser ambeo vr microphone, in to a zoom f6 in 32bit float mode. The recording is converted from ambisonics a to binaural in post. 16bit 48khz.

School kids recorded in the cafeteria during their lunch hour. It was recorded using an iphone (extemporaneous, hence the low quality), converted from the m4a to ogg, but it could certainly pass as a background sound.

Middle school (ages 12-14) band of about 50 students preparing to make an audition recording in their school auditorium. A stereo recording made at 4:50pm on saturday september 12th 2015 of the ambience of a small town near a playground. Up until this day, the weather here in the midwest had been your typical high-heat high-humidity. But, the day before this field-recording was made the wonderful jet-stream had dropped down on us, a cool, mass of less-humid canadian air, making the leaves sing through the trees with the lifting of the northwest breezes. A gentle tinkling wind-chime can be heard from 1:05 to 1:20. Recording made in stereo with marantz pmd661 and two sennheiser me66 microphones mounted on tripods about 4 feet off the ground.

Chldren were playing in the neighbour when a low lightning activity thunderstorm came to pécel and lasted for 1-2 hours. It produced 10 mm of moderate rain and bright intracloud lightning. Recorded by my sony stereo dictaphone. The storm arrival had a little disaster movie impression for me.
