This was recorded at the san giorgi in braida church along the adige river in verona, italy. I used a zoom h1 set on the top of a pew a few seats away from where i sat. The organist was practicing at nearly the other end of the church, hence the atmospheric and distant audio quality.

This is a synth sound taken from a friend then ran through a frequency distortion with some eq delay. To me this sound sounds like a cyber monster from another galaxy making his existence known here.

During liftoff, ground control engineers talk to the pilots to help keep the rocket on the right course. The launch crew and pilots are talking in a particular regional northeastern italian dialect.
