My dog growls when you go anywhere near him while he is eating, i noticed he seems to leave a little bit of food so he could run to it and growl (perform) when i came downstairs later on. So, i placed a condenser mic on his bowl and recorded him in 96k 24bit. I will no doubt use this in a short film and it's here for use by others too. Patch on my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer. Recorded in early 2015 using my google nexus 5 with a class-compliant audio-interface and the soundcloud app. I called it "babysteps" at the time. A trumpeting roar-like sound i made by dragging a heavy metal chair across a cement floor. I picture a herbivorous creature, maybe like an indricotherium, making this call, but feel free to use this sound for any creature you want! edited in audacity.

Here it is! my first ever submission on freesound! i decided to start this all out with a bang, and post something really cool that i'm proud of making. I'm not sure exactly what this creature was supposed to be. I'll leave that up to your imaginations. How it was made:. Software: fl studio 20. Plugin(s): serum, valhallaroom, ott, fruity parametric eq 2, and fruity delay 2. This was made completely with synthesizers. I used serum for the main synth, made copies of it, and modified each of them to sound unique from the other. I'd try to explain how the synth was made, but there's a lot of stuff. To process it, i used ott to make it sound more powerful and clear, eq to get the frequencies and texture right, delay with a low pass filter to get that outdoors echo feel, and valhalla room for the reverb. I had fun making these. Enjoy!.

A very simple experiment i made for fun, using kinda low quality processed recordings. I tried to create some kind of alien soundscape vaguely inspired by half-life xen, especially the black mesa version.

Large dragon like beast roaring. Hissing of a monster, dinosaur growl. Breathing sounds in the beginning.

Me making raptor noises with a slight echo and a pitch shift. A few of them are much deeper, like a t-rex. I get slightly choked in the middle.
