I recorded my whistle with this one too. I have the ability to make reverse whistling sounds. I just killed background noises in my bedroom using my audio editing program and i added a reverb for that echo in the forest sound. This is a bird making different sounds.

Explosion sound created using a zoom h1 and tempering with metal fibers near the mic capsules. Added verb and pop compression for better flexibility. Recorded at 24bit 96khz, down converted to 16 bit wav. Feel free to use this for what ever you need it. Wouldn't mind some credit, thank you. :) stay tuned for more audio effects. I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto. Recorded on one of the hottest days of august 2011 using my rode ntg-2 shotgun mic into zoom h4n recorder.

The door of an mg-b being closed, processed to add a long, spooky echo. Recorded with a marantz pmd-661 with built-in microphones, and processed with audacity. Prepared for (but not used in) a delicate balance, oxford theatre guild 2011.

A slinky spring toy stretched out and plucked once from the end, recorded with a zeppelin design labs cortado impedance-matched piezo contact microphone. The resulting recording is a classic spring-based sci-fi "laser sound" with a massive, lengthy, rumbling decay tail. This was recorded at 24 bit 96 khz. In addition to its use as a sound effect, this waveform works well inside a convolution reverb as an offbeat spring reverb impulse response, provided one has the processor power and ram to support a 2 minute 13 second convolution. The cortado's bass response is exceptionally large for a contact mic, so high pass filtering may be desired if used as an impulse response.

I am standing at the far end of a very large gym. At the opposite end of the room, there is a small group of women greeting their friends.

A alarm sound recorded with the sony a7rii in slowmotion mode, sounded pretty cool and had to share it with you guys. Credits would be much obliged.

Very moody and trippy with some light distortion but heavy on the phaser and delay. Could call it outer space/science fiction type of noise.

I cut out some parts of the "badoink audacity base loop" (id:540779) and did my best to make a simple song using only audacity. It wasn't easy lol, i used several effects from audacity itself: reverb, echo, pluck, distortion, equalization, amplify, change speed, change pitch and tone generator. The end result is not a masterpiece, but it was nice to participate in this challenge, thanks badoink.
