Direct recording of my jackson sl-3 soloist electric guitar through a line 6 pod x3, using its internal reverb effects. (large hall reverb with decay at 99%, or maybe even 100% for that endless washed out effect).

I accidentally came up with this sound when i was remixing one of my favorite songs on audacity. It sounds like a whole bunch of computer software and techy stuff sparking, beeping and crackling. Would be great for a movie introduction if it was overlayed with soundtrack. Spooky ambient sound i made in audacity.

This is an old commercial refrigerator from the grocery store. It was making a very nice regular droning sound so i placed my phone inside the fridge to get a clean recording without the noise from the store. Perfect for a spaceship drone or background noise at a factory.

It is a looping metallic droning sound made by my ceiling fan as it just started and slowly the as the speed of fan increases, the sound also revs up.

I have this drummer's stool that creaks when you rotate it. So this is that sound. Metal scraping against metal through reverb, echo, and harmony pedals into a delay/looper.

The foreboding sound of fear. Something is watching you. . . Or is it all in your head? i think i might have been subconsciously channeling some of the noises on fsol’s ‘lifeforms’. Might be useful for gabber, dark ambient and soundtracks. Created using a rainstick sample mutated in audacity with paulstretch and loads of effects.

Another "holy" ambient sound, made by layering a synthesized voice speaking/singing part of the lord's player several times to create a ringing drone with a sustained chord in the background. Made in fl studio.

The sound is a guitar drone. Effects used: light distortion > eq > pitch shifter/harmonizer on multi-effect > delay on a second multi-effect > more delay > vibrato > reverb. ) direct to soundcard, edited w/ compression and fading on the beginning/end to hide "loop clicks". Sound is a bit distorted in parts due to peaking from the reverb (i guess). . . Meant to imitate shoegaze-style guitar drones. . . If i had a proper amp it might sound better!.

I messed around with levels and soundcard settings and was able to get a much cleaner, less distorted recording (compared to the guitar drone sample uploaded previously. ).
