A bass line , a hard one !.

Sound to resemble a contact kick with someone else recorded with my voice and 'bit-crushed'.

I used bdx for the kick, sent through disto-fx and various eq plugins. Cymbalistic was used for the hihats, with further eq and gating placed on it. The snare was from a free sample pack (i can't remember the name of) sent through a resonator, eq plugins and some soft-clippers to give it a bigger sound. Clipmax was used on the master channel.

A heavy machine gun sound that i made by mixing drum samples. I used the tec9_cart_montage sound by mwl500 for the shells.

Back in 2015 i have rendered this loop to show my mates how effective ableton's vocal eq presets actually are. I encourage you to try them yourself as well. (not sure about sample key, 150 bpm).

This is a reese synth for drum&bass. I put tube distortion and unison detune, for keep the sound more fat.
