By chance i noticed that my guitar neck was cracking, in a very nice way. I used it, ever since i noticed this, for several sound design gigs. I hope you can use it too. (recorded with two neumann km184 mics and a ssl xlogic pre-amp. ).
I gathered some twiggs from my home, and at the booth, i put them all in my hand and applied easy preasure. The twiggs broke slowely, making a lot of crunch sounds. Sounds like someone stepping in the woods.
A bit wood-like crunchy sounds made by living hyacinth leaves when gently (i swear) pressing on them with hands. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised and filtered bogus sub bass in audacity.
I tried to make a friction drum by stringing a med handglove membrane to a wooden mortar. That mostly failed; i couldn’t control the pitch and make continuous sound. Here the membrane is stroked by a wooden pestle, making quite annoying sounds. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised and filtered bogus sub bass in audacity.
