Recorded and raised the gain very high, this is simply my fingernails gently rubbing against the fabric of my fender mustang iv amplifier. A peaceful "scene" of winter birds foraging in a large thicket of wild blackberry brambles. Among the birds that you hear, juncoes, and the beautiful little white-crowned sparrow -- the white-crown's song -- towards the end of this recording - is more melodic that his neighbors. Recorded on christmas day of 2015 in a beautiful abandoned farm field which provides great habitat and food for the midwest's winter visitors. Recording made on a cloudy 40-degree day with a sony pcm-m10.

This is the birds we hear in shrubs every singing around 10 am in early december. The birds cannot be seen but fly out to our garden and then we see they are all tree sparrows.
