A long sword being drawn, created with a bastard sword (one-hand-and-a-half, forged for exhibition-fights) and a sharpening steel. Recorded on zoom h2.
This is a free sound design. Sound picture of a room with machines. A sound experiment with samples that were created previously in different ways and ways, as well as samples created for this piece. A lot of granular synthesis and filtration, equalization and convolutional reverb.
1:56 field recording of exterior daytime environmental windy day in an exposed lincolnshire countryside location, but with mics completely shielded inside a bus-shelter for a less in your face perspective. Mics are pointed upwards into the wooden box roof of the shelter, which has added a somewhat eerie and disconcerting lower mid rumble to the scene. Recorded with a balanced stereo pair of mics and edited to remove intrusions.

Recorded in the night, you will hear a calm situation of falling raindrops without noise of civilisation. The church bell is 200 meter away. The raindrops are falling on the ground of a little deciduous forest and the whole situation is very spatial. The spatial impression is best if headphones are used. Ch1 = flch2 = frch3 = rlch4 = rr. The download-file is a polywav. If you need to split the file (e. G. To make a stereo file), you can use the easy to use"wave agent beta"(free)from sound devices for example. ;-)https://www. This wood thrush was recorded around 7:30 in the morning in heavy woods in deep southern illinois. Unlike my earlier posting of the wood thrush singing at dusk, this morning recording has the wood thrush singing with lots of company, although he clearly rises above his neighbors. 17 seconds into the recording you hear the drumming of a woodpecker, and at one-minute 20 seconds into the recording you hear the distinctive-lonely sounding call of the huge pileated woodpecker. Recording made with good-quality stereo microphones so use headphones to get a wonderful experience.
A 1 minute clip of me walking around the football field of loyola high school. In the background i heard cars, birds, busy los angeles traffic, sprinklers, other people, a plane.
