Mono clip of saxophone musician playing in a nearly empty square. Recorded using at shotgun mic & a beachman omni-mic. The echo of the sax can be heard as well as people walking and talking nearby. Sound clip is designed so that it sounds like you are passing the musician. Last half is the saxist playing in the distance.

It's a recording of a firework candle going off. The candle bursts near the end of the recording, before burning out. Recorded with zoom h2's rear mics at 96khz/24bit on a mic stand. Truncated and converted to 24-bit flac using audacity. This is an unprocessed (raw) recording for maximum flexibility. Enjoy.

Recorded to iphone using sennheiser ambeo smart headset (binaural mic). There's a dip in level in the first 10 seconds where i'm playing with the mic, but it levels out shortly after that. Recorded while seated, with the "front" of the train towards the right ear. Not the greatest quality, but perhaps it will be useful to you as a background ambience.

Coffee shop in tokyo. Lots of background noise and conversation. Staff is cleaning. Espresso drinks are being made. This recording was made with a stereo pair of mics placed at a coincidental 120 degree angle. I rolled off the low end at 28hz to remove the sound of coffee cups being set on the counter where the mics were placed.
