Needed a sound for a clay pot being dug out of sand. I used rice and a small ceramic pot for this.

Small rocks tumbling down a steep hill. We got in the van and drove down a rural road. On the side of that road, we found land with its topsoil removed, stripped also of its plants, but there were lots of rocks and a small cliff where rocks could tumble down. The location where this audio was recorded in arkansas is shown in a video of our family adventure. We found where whittington creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. Recorded sand on a large piece of paper being dragged across a rubberized dance floor (marley). Space had a twenty foot ceiling. Recorded with a tascam im2 stereo condenser microphone and ipod touch. This version has shorter, tugging drags.

Variable quality as recorded on phone, walking on a sandy rocky area around a reservoir. Nowhere near the sea actually.

Ocean waves crashing onto the beach at three distances, close, near, far. There is a little automobile rumble in the background for the "near" and "far" section. In the "close" section you can hear the water being absorbed into the sand.

Recorded with a zoom h1 n. It's a high tide and the waves are slowly lapping at the kelp strewn sandy beach. Recorded at rathtrevor beach, vancouver island, on the salish sea. There was a dog barking in the far distance, edited out. I also edited the ending with a fade out.

Recorded while on a walk in myneighborhood. Washed up on the street was amixture of sand, rocks, and loose gravel. In the background a bug can be heard that i wasunfortunately unable to edit out, but i hope its ok. (re-uploaded because i forgot to trim unwanted audio sections). -----.
