Quiet, consistent city ambience: traffic at street crossing, some people, airplane, one loud bang. Motor rumble of starting/stopping vehicles, some distant voices, honk, shot/bang. Recorded with tascam dr100mk2 (built-in cardiods 58mm 90°, gain h7, 80hz-hp), no processing. Recorded on an april evening from a 5th floor balcony in berlin moabit.

This is a recording i made using my tascam dr-40 field recorder. Used the xy pattern, no post-processing, just some edits to cut off unwanted noise, wind puffs and stuff. It was recorded in santo andre, state of sao paulo, brazil. This sample has street sounds, with rain, people chatting (in portuguese), bird sounds, cars, bikes and airplane sounds.

The recording was made in the town of kirkcaldy, scotland, next to a street on a seaside promenade. Street noises can be heard on the recording. Incoming motorcycle steadfast in the traffic light and departing. Hear passing cars and street sounds. I recorded it on the zoom h5 handy recorder. I was sitting in my car in the city centre of glasgow scotland waiting for a member of my family, so to pass the time i got out my little canon powershot a460 digital camera, wound down my window and recorded the sound of the heavy traffic driving past my car. For postprocessing, only unwanted noises were cut from the recording and the overall sound level was raised.
