The beat was made using the real drum sounds in fruity loops for a friend who wanted to jam some new guitar riffs for his band. The tempo was originally 60 bpm but sounds better at 90bpm. It comprises of 2 bars of drums with hats and 2 with a ride.

This is a high hat processed, repeating from low to high notes very quickly.

This is a beat i made using the percussion presets form fab filter 1 cm synth for a track i was writing. Each hit was then loaded into abletons impulse drum sampler and tweaked for my pleasure. The snare was subject to some serious stretching,which gives it a rasping sound!fab filter 1 really is a simple but very useful synth.

Playing with the switches on my nagra reel-to-reel - sort of a ryoji ikeda kind of thing popped out - i love surface noise, tape compression. . The whole media in fact!.

Truly dnb kick. Subtle processing on the kick would fit the peg in the hole of your mix. Processed in ableton live.
