Recording at local park.

Recorded this from my 2nd floor balcony in lisbon, portugal. It closely overlooked a small street in which restaurants had set up outside dining. Many people were out this evening, eating, talking and laughing.

Here are the audience bits from a jazz concert i recorded using an olympus field recorder. The auditorium was intimate and acoustically excellent. In the first section if applause you will here a mild rumble. There was a standing ovation, and that's what that rumble is. I also included some quiet bits of the band on stage getting ready for a song, and some subtle crowd walla as well. There is plenty to play with if you need to loop. You may here some bits of the mc or sax player in the background near the end, but nothing you can't work around if you need to. I kinda liked it so i added staccatto string-chords along with a bass in the same notes. Things start growing and ended up something groovy with a spooky touch. I recorded this at late night in a rural german area at summer, approximately 150 - 200 meters away from the party (the party took place on a big and open field). The wind was blowing away from the people towards me, which is the reason, why you can hear the people well, even though there were trees between the people and the recording micorphone. Mabe you can hear a few cars very far in the distance along with the near taxis, picking the people up to take them home, too.
