This is the sound of a rat gnawing its way down through our wooden ceiling (and 2 days after this recording there was a hole about an inch wide in the ceiling!). Recorded july 15th 2015 around 10 o'clock in the evening in the livingroom of my house in fredensborg, denmark, with a portable recorder zoom h2n. The soundfile was then exported from the recorder to a windows pc through usb, and normalized (i. E. Amplitude brought up to 0 decibel) using steinberg's wavelab software before uploading to freesound.

The recorder is located directly beneath an expansion joint on the edge of the underpass, the clonks and clanks of cars and trucks driving over the joint can clearly be heard, with the motorway noise reverberating in the underpass in the background. I am not a professional audio tech or anything related, but i do own a zoom h5 recorder and had to make some recordings for one of my multimedia projects. The recording was made with the audio interface provided by roland tb-03 monophonic synthesizer and with the arduor 5 digital audio station; the processing instruments used to perform equalization, mixing and mastering, the so-called “eq arduor team” and “compressor arduor team” virtual instruments.

A fascinating recording of a warm, humid mid august day in the midwest. This recording was made on sunday august 11th, 2019 near a popular dog park in a small southern illinois town. In addition to the gentle droning of the insects, and occassional birds, you will hear some dogs barking at various times toward the end of the piece. Stereo field-recording of the most exuberant birdsong and easter morning bells i've ever heard. A single woman's heeled footsteps are heard at the beginning. A couple car passes. Removed a bit of the ambient urban roar with soundsoap. Recorded with two sennheiser 416's in xy, to fostex pd-6.

This sound is of a loop of chains being manipulated, along with footsteps. It is meant to invoke a sense of imprisonment or creepiness, but you may use it as you please. It was taken using a zoom h4n field recorder. The chains were 1/4 inch thick, attached to picnic tables, the footsteps are of skate shoes on concrete. 2014.

Recorded on a zoom h5 handy recorder with an xy condensor microphone capsule, on 05 february, 10 am (gmt+8) on a high rise residential apartment. The sounds are of dad sorting out his papers, while the neighbour scrubs something outside my front door; downstairs the motor vehicles make noise.

Using a finger and a small blackroll tube, i recorded a few plopps with a rode nt-usb mini and the rode podcast recording software.
