I used 3 ableton 10 synths (prehistoric vhs, spacey ambient pad, drifting ambient pad) and a sample of the music in dark souls 3.

The first sampleplayers often had some wobbling samples. A matter of taste. . . I took oldtime sounds from my korg synth,mixed them together and processed them with audacity.

Using instances of surge (synth) and rayspace (reverb). Sounds good for engine rooms.

Dirty church organ sample that i made by using massive vst. It was built from scratch and is royalty free.

Notes as an arpeggio derived from the chord cadd9b5 fed through a glass viper synth at 120 bpm using a panning notch filter on a soundfile that has been reversed cross faded into the original soundfile stretched to its maximum. A czech guy named "staney the robot man" who lives in prague build this little synth. It's completely handmade and consists of a bunch of analog circuitry that when powered creates strange oscillations in current. It's also built into a seseame street toy saxophone. This set sounds like a robot talking. If chopped up and sequenced you could do a lot with it.

Three partsfirst part 11 tones and 4ssecond part 4 tones and 3s (a little unstable sequence. . . )third part 8 tones and 12s. Question. Do i need a modular synth for making meanless things as this. . . Well, yes and no. The parts are related in different ways and theunstableness is nice. Or?all three sequences are made in different ways.

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. Result a generative ambient patch and sound. I recorded for 1,5h. The synth gave me some strange slow crescendo. Don't really know why. This is the last 30 min. Space drone sci-fi sound.

This file is one audio stem of five from producer mesostic's "Friendly Evil Gangsta Synth Hip Hop" instrumental which he released for rapping over, remixing and any other use in the Commons. Friendly Evil Gangsta Synth Hip Hop Stem 3 is the drum kit, using Ableton's standard 808 samples and some funky production.

I have made a patch that generates drones. Lets call this generative. . . I use feedback on my spring reverb. I only use one filter. The drone is structured by a triangle lfo and 2 comparators. It's tricky to balance the patch to give varying and interesting results. The drone is made with a 100% analog modular synth.

Quick arpeggiator. Played on the keys. Could be used for a loop or whatever your heart desires.

Some chords played on the oberheim ob8 analog synthesizer. Would work nicely in a jungle tune. Let me know how you use it!.
