Sound of the tip of a retracted pen being scraped and run over my hand. There is the odd squeak of the plastic against the skin. Some minor processing has been applied to cut the really low frequency sounds (sub 200hz).

A recording made, midday, on thursday december 8 2022 of a light, but very cold rain hitting the bare trees and the wet, brown leaves on the ground in a midwestern usa forest. Towards the end you'll be treated to a group of blue jays making a huge racket!other than that, no animal sounds at all. Opening and closing different types of windows. First one is a roof-light. Second one is a standard house window. Third one is tilting the standard house window and fourth one is a cellar window out of metal.

I was surprised that this came out so well, an awesome water-down-the-drain sound in my very own kitchen sink. A plastic dishpan was tipped and held there until the water exited. Quite a roar, unmodified except that it is contained in the dish washing file.

Sampled from a 20 inch k. Zildjian istanbul ride from the 1950s, and subsequently modified by master cymbal smith mike skiba for a final weight of 2220 grams. Recorded with stereo pm mics. This is a hard stick tip hit on the bell or cup of the cymbal.

Recorded on a damp night from a beach house at wrightsville beach, north carolina. Audio has been treated for some wind. The whole recording was like an hour long but i couldn't upload that much. Tip: to extend the sound, you can cross-fade this sample pretty much anywhere with itself and the effect is virtually unnoticeable.

Modular made space (?) sound. Made a patch that generated some typicalmodular space sounds. Recorded. And now are you listening. Tip: take a part of the sound that seems to be quiet. Open it in yoursound editor. Amplify. . . Space is everywhere. Now slow down the speedof your sample. . . Space is deeeep and have multiple dimensions :-).

The apple plaintalk microphone jack used on some older macintosh systems is designed to accept an extended 3. 5 mm three-conductor phone connector; in this case, the tip carries power for a preamplifier inside the microphone. With hindsight bubbles - similar to a horn or a trumpet - creates a distinctive, penetrating tone. The snail horn is used in different cultures and different symbolic meanings. Recording of a stone mill wheel grinding dry corn for flour. It's in a little stone outhouse, a generator outside powers a belt driven stone wheel. The recording changes in perspective and cycles from the lower part (a wooden crate to receive the milled flour) to the upper element (a large plastic funnel in which the dried corn grains are tipped) and then back down again. 48k/16 bitrecorded in 2010.
