Faucet in a metal sink turned on and off. Hands are run through the water to simulate hand washing. Recorded in a tokyo apartment with a coincidental mic pair placed at a 90 degree angles it's basically a raw recording, but i ran an ssl hpf with the cutoff set at about 28 hz to take out the rumble of the train passing by. . . Since the apartment was near the station, the train sound was unavoidable. But if this is used in a larger mix, it probably won't be noticeable.

A recording of a recording as it turns out. Throughout different tropical countries you can often hear this being played out of buildings quite loudly and constantly. It is the sound of swallows who are known to make valuable nests out of their saliva. This hardened saliva is quite valuable and so this recording is often used to attract swallows in to nest in buildings. This was recorded in malaysian borneo and used originally here: https://soundcloud. Com/evil-ear/sets/malaysia. Enjoy. Evil ear recordings.

I mounted the mic inside and on top of the car and drove trough the city, recording some ambulance, traffic, and a scooter that was tooting, later i turned of engine, opened and closed the car door and startet the engine, maybe you find it useful, let me know :). I used the equipment described in my profile.

Short recording of a car (specifically an suv, but could easily work for a sedan or light truck) driving in from a distance and parking. It idles briefly, and then turns off the engine. Also some light suburban neighborhood ambience (light wind, subtle traffic in the distance). Recorded with a sennheiser mkh-416 into a zoom f4 at 48khz, 24-bit.

I took the sound "arpasauro atmo" from thalamus_lab and stretched it + fading in and out, because i needed a longer version. I just love the atmosphere it creates! the gong at the beginning transmuted into some kind of a mystical choir and at the end the short squeaking turned into some kind of a slow door groan. . Maybe you can use it too!. Https://freesound. Org/people/thalamus_lab/sounds/237872/.

The sound is coming from the fans of a server. By pulling out one of the fans, all other fans turn up to 100%. The microphone is located above the air duct exactly in the middle of the case and thus between two fan fronts. The soundfile starts with the fans on standard speed. After a few seconds the fans turn up to 100%. I left them there for a few seconds and then quietly plugged the removed fan back in. This fan now also switches to 100% - this is the single, delayed "speed up" that can be heard from second 35. About 10 seconds later, all fans return to normal speed. Unfortunately, a colleague came in at that time and ended up talking into the recording. Due to lack of time, i was unfortunately unable to repeat the audio that day, but will certainly do another re-recording in the future. Feel free to use the sound; no attribution required. Feel free to write me in the comments what you used the sound for. Equipment:røde lavalier microphonesound devices mixpre-3 ii. File:wavmono96 khz32-bit float.

This is the latest homework i have done, for this one i imagined this:its as if you were hearing from the ears of the person in the cashier spot, at a busy restaurant, this person gets caught in a time wrap and they start to like trip on these sounds from the kitchen, the stage across the bar, and even them turning a page on their boring magazine. If you read this and haven't played it yet, close your eyes and imagine you're that person and tell me what you feel!. At this point i have learned about effects and all that(still no pro), so be sure to listen with earphones for the best experience!sounds i used:. A dell dimension l600r being booted up and turned off. This will work nicely for those needing genuine sounds from an old computer. The mic was placed directly inside the computer's chassis with the side door closed. No noise-removal has been applied on this recording. Most of the sound in this recording comes from the maxtor hard drive, as well as the 3. 5 floppy drive, cpu fan, and psu fan. Also includes a post beep.

A collection of sounds i recorded and subsequently mixed together in a composition. Here they are in their raw, unprocessed form. They include:. --continuous clicking from turning a removable screwdriver head--whispered breathing and grunting (recorded at a very high volume for intensity and boomy room tone)--a metal trash can clanging--a warbling falsetto climbing in pitch--faint taps--a plastic pill bottle being shook and twisted.

I decided to bring my wind chimes inside and recorded them with an mxl 910 microphone into my computer using a focusrite scarlett 18i20 interface with the gain turned up a bit. I then chopped 15 samples i liked from the entire recording and formatted them into a make noise morphagene reel containing 15 splices. I am very pleased with the results, especially when patched into clouds or using an eventide space pedal for example. Enjoy!.

Makes a person peaceful at the upcoming autumn and winter season, while, at the sametime, adds a bit of sadness to summer's memories, now gone. Recorded on wednesday october 23rd, 2019. I recorded this with my zoom h2. Held the recorder the wrong way at first so for the first half of the recording you hear more reverb than direct sound, then realised my mistake and turned it the right way. I made some splashes with my hand so that it doesn't sound too monotonous. Some of the sound is water running into the bath, some - into the sink, i'm sure you can hear which is which. Hope you find it useful for whatever purpose you might need it.

This was hella tough to make! and i used this program that turns picture into sound. It has paint tools, and you start with a black canvas, you draw up a pattern on it, and depending on the color, position, size, quality, format and translucency of the marks and lines you placed, you get sounds. But it is really hard to get a hang of! this took me 3 days to get it right! please comment and rate, i worked really hard on this! by the way, i'll be making more of these, so if you like it, then i have three more.

Imagine this track when a character tries to focus, meditate, or explore his new power or skills and enters into deep meditation. You can try this on your trailer type videos or cinematic short film. I composed a track with synth pads from kontakt 5 factory selection library, clocks from wavesfactory, and ozone imager, and built-in reverbs from fl studio. Then, after rendering the track, i set them all in reverse, and turn the pitch down and inserted a new tsar-1 reverb from softube.

A summer evening in a vineyard by the german town of freyburg on unstrut. The recording abounds with natural background noises (wind in trees, birds, insects). In the foreground, a little bird is singing, giving it all it has. I am no bird expert, but if somebody knows what species it is, i'd love to know. At 3:22 into the recording, the tower bells of the keep of neuenburg castle, located on the hill opposite, toll 9 o'clock. They do this by tolling a high bell 4 times, once for each quarter of the full hour, followed by a lower bell tolling the hour 9 times. The recorder is located on the top of the vineyard, facing across the valley between vineyard and castle. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Recording conducted with a zoom h2, mic's set to 120° dispersion.

This is the sound of an slightly old and noisy ceiling fan being switched on, run for a bit, and then turned off. It has been recorded on my cheap android phone in an empty room in mumbai, india. There is some room tone hiss as well mixed in. You can loop the middle part to extend as the drone / rumble is quite steady. Feel free to use as and where you wish.

This audio was recorded from my balcony in downtown denton, texas near the university of north texas at 6:30am in the morning, just after the sun had risen. All sorts of birds can be heard in the nearby trees. A car drives by in the distance, splashing through a puddle, and at the close of the recording, i walk inside, shut the door, and turn off the sony icd-ux512 voice recorder.

I turned on my recorder just after watching a movie on valentines day. The theatre wasn't packed but people were relaxed. I stood in the lobby for a while watching people getting ready for the next movie, then walked outside through the squeaky doors of the theatre and stood around people having a smoke and waiting for their ride home. I then walked to my car. Panasonic stereo hand recorder, nothing fancy.

I'm creating a progressive loop that starts out with plenty of space between the sounds, but get progressively shorter to the point of overlapping. This is the base sound. I may work on creating a more cohesive pitch, but the dramatic pitch could possibly work for you. Key: c #minoralt key: 12abpm: 107 (does it matter?)environment: audacity for stupid simplicity. Use it however you want. From club, to smut, to funeral. If you get a chance to add a constructive review or criticism, i'll turn out better sounds for the community. Everything will forever be cc0.

This is an aif (garage band) file of just good ol' tape hiss recorded from a jvc tape machine (cassette). It's just tape hiss. You can change the freq to help blend it in your recordings. I have the volume on this at a higher level. When i blend this with my digital recordings i turn it down just enough to hear it without it being too analog sounding. Hope you can use it. It's great for soft passes and solo instruments, much like white noise of a studio perhaps.

A sound i made in audacity, basicly a chirp going down from about 500 hz to 20 hz (with a fade-out to limit subwoofer use)and added some ambience by using white noise rumble on the background, also added a slight wah-wah as you might notice. (recorder: zoomh4npro 2018)(microphones: binaural roland cs-10em in-ear monitors). As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully don't turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. Wow, this is a long one. . . But a good one. Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a swimming pool and hot tub. Now, for some reason in la, nobody ever seems to actually use pools or hot tubs anymore so it's not hard to get clean audio. So, from beginning to end you will basically hear me turn the automatic shutoff dial on the wall, walk to the hot tub, get in the hot tub, and sit in various positions for extended periods of time. I was alone for the entire experience (wife was at work) and nobody joined. It's very clean audio and safe for all production. Recorded on 11/20/2018 in burbank, ca. Enjoy,. Christopher c. Courter.

The mechanical noise and signature "chord" associated with the "mac mini (2010 model)" upon startup/boot. Brief mechanical motor and clicking noises followed by the famed sustained f sharp major chord (detuned 30 cents flat) being projected over low quality, built-in speakers. Mechanical noise has defined pitch and is predominantly in the mid-high frequencies. Recorded on zoom h2n, in small, empty room. Audio clip normalized in post-processing.

Here is the sound of a 50-caliber barrett rifle being fired. You'll first hear the sound of the bolt being pulled back. Really cool sound if you can listen on some nice big speakers. Recorded with my handy zoom h4n using a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. I was standing about 20 feet from the rifle, and i still have the input gain turned way down to about 30, just to make sure the circuitry was not overloaded. Also, since this was in a big, wide-open field, you get a nice echo.

I was just messing around with audacity again, this time slowing down my recording like a tape record, which not only stretched the time, but also turned down the frequency range which resulted in pitch shift. I stumbled around a sound that sounded like a huge horn exhaust - like those war pipes from celtics. So i experimented a little bit and made this one. Original recording was mono (but recorded to stereo track), however i added a reverb effect which created a nice stereo reverb effect. Feel free to use in games :).

I created this sound back in 2019 using multiple recordings of an airsoft browning hi-power replica that i mixed together until it turned into this early 00s video game-y type clicky dry fire sound. People whispering before a classical music concert begins. Recorded with a zoom h2. Uniwersytet muzyczny imienia fryderyka chopina. If you wonder why it's so quiet:. I recorded it in 24-bit wav, and didn't want to process the sound (it would inevitably add some noise and distortion) - this way we minimize the amount of processing, and we can keep highest possible quality. A pair of owls stationed themselves outside my half-basement bedroom window in colorado early this morning around 12am. Unfortunately i only had my phone to capture them with, but it still turned out alright, save for the periodic vox-like breaks when silencing background noise. The hoot is obvious as to the source, but i'm unsure about the screech/cry that occurs with equal frequency. Is it the response of a mate? or just the yip of a curious neighbor dog?. A low frequency hum that will work on pc speakers (at least it does on my pc). . - i made this sound because i needed a deep hum for a composition, but as it turned out my pc speakers cut off low frequencies. A quick googling taught me that this is common for many pc's, but also that there might be ways around it in terms of designing waves that the speakers can produce. And so, after playing around with audacity abit, i came up with this low frequency hum that works well for my purpose at least. - i hope it might help others with similar issues.
