Recorded at hammonasset state park in connecticut in a rocky section of the beach. Waves hitting boulders of various sizes causes sloshing and splashing sounds. Here's a recording of light waves on the shore of saint-laurent river in quebec, canada. This stereo recording was made with a sound devices usbpre2 into a tascam dr-680 (spdif) and 2 studio project c1 in ortf with a 80hz low cut.

I made this using two oscillators in native instrument's fm8 synth. There is nothing too fancy, just two sine waves played out the same output, but one has an offset of 440hz, and the second oscillator has an offset of 330hz. I then just played two notes that didn't sound too dissonant, and then ran it through some low-fi processing.

This is sound is produced by a person walking on the sand of the beach. It has been recorded using a zoom h2.
