Recorded may 2013. Bird song & chatter in an english deciduous woodland. Distant road traffic is audible.

A beach in swden summer 2012, with lots of families with small children. Recorded with ipad 3 using apogee imic, just slightly eq:ed to remove sub 100 hz noise, and stereosimulated using cubase´s mono to stereo.

My 1st recording with my marantz pmd661, with enhanced preamplifiers by oade brothers. I used my two matching stereo samson co2 microphones with the input level on 7. Recording made around 9pm at night on august 1st, 2014 in a small midwestern town. The chorus of cicadas and tree frogs is very steady on this one.

The ever-present insects are there, but overshadowed by the peepers. 13 seconds in a dog barks off in the distance and the echo is just incredible. 24 seconds into the recording is the classic call of the red-wing blackbird. Just like old jeb used to like it! i bumped the volume up by about 6. 3db, as i didn't want to ruin the serene quality by bring it to full normalization. Not processed or modified in any other way, but a decently clean sample. Audio specs:-. Wav uncompressed- 44. 1 khz (standard)- 16-bit.

Grasshopper's sounds.

A fascinating recording of a warm, humid mid august day in the midwest. This recording was made on sunday august 11th, 2019 near a popular dog park in a small southern illinois town. In addition to the gentle droning of the insects, and occassional birds, you will hear some dogs barking at various times toward the end of the piece. I personally love the tremendous echo on this recording. Equipment used: sounddevices mixpre-6. Microphones: left channel, sennheiser mkh416right channel, rode ntg-2.
