There are very old fluorecent lights in our garage and i recorded one of them. The hum was very quiet, so i made that louder in audacity and removed background noise which was also amplified.
This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. Enjoy this sound effect.
Something small made with famitracker. Nothing else was used besides that software. It is a simple and free program so if you're interested check it out.
I was doing some recording for this project i'm working on, and the right channel on the zoom h4 i was using bugged out, and this is the result. The only processing done was the removal of the left channel.
Theme hand saw :. Production step :i reccord the sound of someone speaking. I copy this sound 4 times. One time on two i « invert » the sound for creating a contrast. So four speaking are on the « original sens » and four on the contrary. On a another track, i take another short recording of a men voice and copy this once. I add this new track to the middle of the first once. To finish i chang the pitch of all the track with a percent of change of -24. Description :this sound look like an old wood hand saw. We clearly distinguish the saw movement. Going on and going back. Add a different recoording on the middle allows the sound to be realistic. Because the hand saw sound is not regular. A door creaking into a spatial, hollow abyss. Spatial depth, large room. Creepy, ominous creak. Recorded with the tascam dr-40 built-in microphones, processed in pro tools 10, bounced to a 48khz 24bit wav file.

Yep, a classic recording. A must in your bucket list. That's a pendulum clock, as you can hear. With a featuring refridgerator (sorry). But the clock sounds sweet, in my perspective. It's recorded with a tascam dr100.

Sound shutter and rapid shooting of old nikon 2020 camera edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).
This was a car sound i made for an animated video, though it does not appear in all versions of it. I recall that i made it by dragging a pencil along a piece of wood.
Sound of travel in an old elevator in warsaw. Opening and closing of the doors, the sound of elevator going up with squeals of old machinery. Finally it stops, door opens and shuts.
