This is an old gramophone with a 78rpm vinyl-record. The sounds include the winding-up, the placement of the needle, crackle-noise and other surface sounds of the vinyl, lifted-up needle and the sound of the vinyl record-player stopping. Recorded in stereo on a zoom h4 handheld recorder.

Created using glitchmachine fracture free plug in with reaper daw 24 bit 44. 1 khz.

The sound of lowering the stylus onto a vinyl record.

It's the 80s and i'm about half-way through making a punk/new wave party mix tape when my turntable starts repeating itself. Unwilling to to back and re-record the mix, i batted the needle around on the record for half a second and stopped the tape. This is the part that isn't recognizable as "hey, st. Peter!".

45 rpm vinyl record scratch, consistent scratch and needle skip.

An emulation of the classic "rewind and stop" sound performed by djs to add tension before the drop. Made after tens of trials using fl studio's fruity scratcher on a sample i don't remember.
