During the pandemic and after i have recorded many sounds of nature in the countryside of campins (barcelona outdoors). Wind, birds nest, birds, crickets, dogs, and a lot of rain, thunder, and after rain. Enjoy this marvellous sounds of nature.

Surrounded by tall trees the wind was quite strong and audible.

Recorded in ny at 3:30 pm with a sound devices mix pre-3 and an audio-technica bp4025 microphone (with a rode blimp windshield). Sounds heard include wind and falling/rustling leaves.

This recording was made near a large windturbine, which is located right next to a highway. I am not a professional audio producer. I sometimes make recordings with a zoom h5 recorder. After many years of downloading and using sounds of other people i want to contribute something myself. Maybe this will be useful for someone.

This was recorded inside the studio using a poplar branch with dried leaves.

Wind turbine sound, near lacedonia, campania, italy, the 16th august 2022 @ 18:30the sound was recorder with a zoom h1n with windshield from a distance of 25m approx from the wind turbine. Processing:* 120hz high pass filter (to reduce some low frequency rumbles due to the wind);* volume adjustment;. Other sound in the recording:* voice of a woman in the distance (at the beginning of the file);* wind gusts;* car passing by (at the end of the file);.

This is a sample of howling wind created in logic pro x using a few of choruses, flangers and fm synthesis. It isn’t the most realistic recreation of wind, but i think it’s a great layer to put under actual wind recordings. This is also suitable for horror:esc sounds.

Rainstorm in portland, maine. Raindrops hitting window. Gusts of wind. Dripping of window leak into bucket--accelerates in last few seconds of recording. This was recorded on sony dsc-hx9v camera.

I'm not sure how it's called but it's those tuned wood things that make pleasant sounds when it's windy. Lol.

This was recorded during a harsh storm here i stockholm. Harsh winds blowing thru a small forest. Details such as leaves rustling and hard stormy winds are key components in this recording. It sounds like a storm is approaching what do you think?. I honestly don't remember what i did in post. . . I think i removed alot of bass/rumble, added an expander to remove some unwanted noise to help the winds and leaves to stand out. I probably used rx to clean up some unwanted noises. Equipment:zoom h5 + sony ecm 6080s condenser mic. This was a test to see how the stereo configuration on the ecm 6080s sounded like. I really like it but i would prefer an ab configuration with 2 dpa 2011 or even 2 4060. . . I like the sound it was able to capture even if it may be a little to "centered". I probably will try to use it for my future hiking trips to capture rivers and general ambiances, if i get something special i will upload them here. Hope you like it.

Recorded in czech republic using iphone 7 plus mic at 320kbps (which i found had a more rounded sound than more advanced mics i used for the same sound).
