Test run of an air-raid siren in sept 2022. This happened the day after i got my tascam dr-05x so it was one of the first things i recorded.

Relaxing vintage analog hissing for relaxation :). Source: sony wmd3 walkman, but the tape is not runnig. Recorded @96 khz with rme babyface pro fs. Unfortunately it didn´t work anymore after this recording. So bad :(. Ommmmm!^^.

3 cell quantussy patch. One cell acts as "controller cell". When the controller cell starts a new cycle a noise is heard defining the start of one cycle and at the same time the ending of the previous. Here we have three short cycle.

30 second fade in of white noise, made in audacity!. I decided to create the sound of a fading white noise, sounding like static noise fading in.

I made a waveshaper in the js audio language that applies random math operations to the signal. The original signal is liteon's (of reaper forums) lorenz attractor synth, which is then run through the waveshaper, then that signal controls the pitch of a soundwave. Later on i waveshape the resulting soundwave but i don't think it has the best results (dc offset city). A lot of the cooler sounds/series of pitches are made by changing the number of operations on the fly, or shuffling a new set of operations for the waveshaper to use.

An extactor hood starting to work, running for a couple of seconds and stops. I decided to not record the switch on, switch off because it didn't "sound right" to me. You will find a better, more distinctive switch sound in here. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. Sound that was produced by cartridge-tilted gameboy advance sp and distorted by looping glitch on cheap realtek soundcard. Additional delays in puredata. The whole variety of different noises, but in general that sounds crispy. And disturbing.
