A short scary music box background track.

I've had this saved for a while, and haven't really done anything with it (yet). How it was made: i took an old music box i got for christmas a few years ago, recorded it (obviously), slowed it down a little bit (it originally plays in g, now it plays in g-flat), and added reverb. The reverb plugin i use is called ambience. (it's really frickin' good. ).

This sound was created using the risset tone generator in audiomulch. I added some timbral complexity using the shaper and granulator effects before running it through some delay and reverb. This particular sound has a dissonant, almost violin-like quality. Hopefully this sound might be of use for soundtracks of various kinds. It should be easy to loop, if you need it to be longer.

The sound of a creaky door, recorded with my zoom h5. Processing: noise-removal (reafir), mild compression/coloration (molot vst), and convolution reverb (reverberate core; factory preset: medium plate ts).

Deep emotional ambient sound, for some it reminds fear, for others space, for anothers aliens or all together. A very old production. A simple dark ambient track, slow, brooding. It can be the dark cold regions of space, or the cobweb-filled but lifeless corners in the cellar of a haunted mansion. Mostly vst synthesizers, lots of reverb effects and eq's to shape the sound.

Deep and dark sci-fi background noise that could fit a movie space ship, e. G. In the warp drive chamber. The actual sound source is a gas stove that has been recorded using a fostex fr2 recorder and a pair of røde nt5 mics in x/y positioning. The original 24/88. 2 recording has been slowed down 99% using audacity. Some echo added.

Deep notes created with a osc, shaped with the "aetereal" and "alienspace weaver" vst's. Effects: echo, reverb.

Alien drone ship, oscillating bass frequencies, deep. Recorded with the tascam dr-40 built-in microphones, processed in pro tools 10, bounced to a 48khz 24bit wav file.

Synthdrone. Synth used: plex. Probably useful for horror or sci-fi movies.

Another drone. Even darker than "dark star": more bass, additional fx.

Had a go at making some of the tripod sounds from war of the worlds , turned out orite, will be uploading a tutorial soon.

As usual. . A triple osc was used. I played with the different possibilities. . . Sine, triangle, saw, square waves were used here. It may cause damage on high volume (maybe?). Effects: phaser, reverb. After recording, the entire soundshape was inverted.

Just made a test for my future horror game. This is actually me scraming in a pillow. It makes the scream easier to add echoes. I won't use it since it was a simple test, but please let me know if you did, i'd really appreciate it :d. If you'd need more screams like that, tell me =). Edited in free audio editor.
