Puce is a dark red or purple brown color, a brownish purple or a "dark reddish brown."

Lavender blue was listed in A Dictionary of Color as one of the three major variations of lavender in 1930 along with lavender gray and lavender. It is identified as being the same color as periwinkle. The first use of the term lavender blue as a color term was in 1926.

The hex code for Thulian pink is identical to that of China pink and Liseran purple. The first recorded use of liseran purple as a color name in English was in 1912.

The color sunset is a pale tint of orange.It is a representation of the average color of clouds when the sunlight from a sunset is reflected from them. The first recorded use of sunset as a color name in English was in 1916.

Shocking pink is bold and intense. It takes its name from the tone of pink used in the lettering on the box of the perfume called Shocking, designed by Leonor Fini for the Surrealist fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli in 1937. The color shown here matches the color of the lettering on the original box. This in turn was inspired by the Tête de Belier (Ram's Head), a 17.27 ct pink diamond from Cartier owned by heiress Daisy Fellowes, who was one of Schiaparelli's best clients.

Lemon is a color somewhat resembling yellow and named after the fruit. The color lemon is a representation of the color of the outer skin of a lemon. The first recorded use of lemon as a color name in English was in 1598.

Lemon glacier is a fluorescent color, presented here in its non-fluorescent form. The color lemon glacier was released by Crayola in 2009 in the extreme twistable crayons. This color is very slightly greenish looking to the naked eye (just barely detectable)--as can be seen in its color box, its green code is very slightly larger than its red code.

The prior definition of android greenwas a yellow-green color #A4C639 (PMS 376C in print). During the initial creation of the android logo, first released in November 5, 2007, #A4C639 was selected by the original designer of the android logo, Irina Blok, "...because it reminded (us of a) nostalgic code color, and it would stand out against dark background." Code color probably refers to the color of text in Monochrome monitors, derived from the green "P1" phosphor.

The Advanced Crew Escape Suits pressure suits worn by NASA astronauts and the previous Launch Entry Suit use this color, as opposed to the lighter tone of safety orange used by the United States Air Force's high-altitude suits. This was also planned for the Constellation Space Suit systems that were to be flight-ready by 2015. The Bell X-1, the first airplane to break the sound barrier, was also painted in International Orange.

Ultra pink is a Crayola crayon color formulated in 1972. In 1990, the name was changed in error to shocking pink; however, properly speaking, the name shocking pink should be reserved for only the original shocking pink formulated by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1937.

Orange is the color of an orange fruit, which is where the name of the color comes from. Before the orange fruit was introduced to England in the 1500s, this color was called yellow-red. The first recorded use of orange as a color name in English was in 1512, in the court of King Henry VIII.
