A recording of my sharpening a machete that we would use to chop drift wood for a beach fire at an island art residency. Between times, you can hear my being offered and resisting advice on how best to sharpen the blade, and my requesting a 'grown up gummie bear'. Also, my then eight-year-old updating me on their search for a pencil sharpener.
