This is a 4 mic recording taken inside a pachinko parlor in akasaka, tokyo. There are so many loud machines and the background music is so loud that you can hardly make out individual sounds and the entire space is just a wash of noise. If you listen closely to this one you can hear some of the individual balls dropping. (when you play pachinko, you win metal balls which can be exchanged for cash later. ).

This is a recording of my stone fireplace burning with a zoom h4n pro. I was burning wet, north carolina lob-lolly pine so that i would end up with a nice, consistent popping sound. Great for any fireplace scene when used at various volume levels. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.

My bathroom fan is humming while operating. As you might hear, the fan is full of dust and dirt, so it does this "unround" noisy humming. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Chefchaouen, a small town perched in morocco's rif mountains, is made up of cobbled, windy streets. These lanes are too narrow to accommodate cars, which results in very unique soundscapes. While you might hear children during the day, at night you hear men standing around, selling their wares, and chatting. This recording is from february, 2020, using a tascam dr-05x.
