Been downloading off this site for ages and thought i'd give something i recorded back. I drank from a glass bottle by a mic to recreate a character in a film drinking some beer from a glass bottle. A small sound but in those quiet scenes i think noises like this make all the difference. Done on my olympus dm5 recorder that i use for last minute foley. Hooray i'm finally on here!.

Ten Green Bottles

Glass beer bottle blow sounding like the background "whoo" effect in the movies alien and blade runner. Mono. Old school spot effect. Helmholtz resonance using a partially-filled (for pitch tuning) glass beer bottle. The resulting tone was sampled, bandpass filtered, pitch bent and laid over a copy of the original sample. Reverb added post-effect to push the sound back and smooth out some nasty quantizing artefacts caused by the pitch bender.

These are two bottles that i threw down the stairs to the cellar of the house in which i lived most of my childhood.

Akg c214 condenser mic, mackie onyx preamp, ad cirrus logic converter. Corking and uncorking of scotch whiskey. Macallan, lagavulin, singleton, scapa, johnnie double black. 20-30cm from mic.

Pop and suck sounds. Various different versions. Made with the mouth but applicable for many other applications. Great for animations, comedy etc. . . Audia technica series 40 mic slight natural room reverb. 24 bit 48khz wav file.

Water draining from my shower pipes makes a strange hand drum sound. I added two tracks and passed each to one side. Not sure if that is how you achieve stereo. I’m learning.

Bottle break.

Searched everywhere for this sound and was astonished not to find it. Very basic slap of the bare palm over the opening of an empty glass bottle, while holding the bottle in the other hand. I don't have good equipment or environment, but i figured you all could use it anyway if there's nothing else out there. If i overlooked one feel free to link me in the comments.
