I made this sound by tapping a coca cola bottle with a crappy mono microphone and used various effects to make it sound cool. Probably good for all you game makers out there.

I was recording with my wireless mic and i had dropped it on the floor and got a sound similar to this one so i started to try to remake it and this is what i came up with. A long track i put together for a game. This track has small arms fire, grenade explosions, machine gun fire, rifle fire, artillery fire, and 2 screams in it.

Here was my attempt to simulate the kicks used by hip hop producer don cannon. Fully synthesized, no samples here. But, as stated in the title, i did gate the sound in order to get more attack.
