If you cut out sections, scramble them and fool around with the speed in the sound, i think you can get a great variety of pneumatic and robot-sounding sounds out of it.

You can also tell these beautiful birds around by looking for fairly large, rectangular holes in the trees. Recorded with my zoom h4n recorder and using the internal, built-in microphones. The "concrete cello" pack is a collection of scraping, scratchy and droning improvisations on the cello focussing on the creation of sounds to be used as base materials for future compositions. They were originally recorded in 2019 to be used in as sound design elements for the documentary "hotel regina" by director matthias berger for which i composed the music. This clip was made because i was looking for a strong thunderstorm sound effect for a school play. I wasn't able to find one that was strong enough for what i wanted, so this. Mp3 was made in audacity from three other audio files from freesound - they are #s 27247, 2521, and 87472. This information is also in the 'comment' metadata of the mp3 file. As far as i can tell, this is the "strongest" storm available on freesound as of early february 2010. (i could be wrong of course!). This is my second blade effect. Let me know if it is any good. I think it sounds just a little bit better than my first one. I used a blood splatter, a shovel sound, a clothing rip, and my own swinging sound. Like always, no credit is necessary. Use it in any games or movies you make. I'll be seeing if i can use this too.

Field recording of elevated subway train in queens. The n and w trains take a sharp turn here, causing the wheels to squeal. Recorded using tascam dr-1 on 24-bit uncompressed setting. Used roll-off at 40 hz to save my speakers. I used a windscreen to cut down on wind noise which can otherwise be a problem on this recorder.

This is a recording made in the province of rieti in italy, in the room of my apartment where i am doing a flight test of my jamara toy drone without sensors. In the background you can hear the songs of renato carosone that i put on my tv and also my parakeets that flutter from time to time. This recording was done with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus stereo microphone.
