I went on a trip down to sydney back in april and decided to record a bit. Its mainly just people chattering and the hum of the train in the background. Recorded on the 18/04/2019 on a h4n pro.

A metal spoon bouncing ever so slightly on a porcelain bowl the way a drumstick hits a snare. I thought the hit had a nice inflection to it and could be used for some strange percussion break.

The sounds of industrial environment as you walk down the neighborhood, you hear a bell chime from a bicycle and a random kick into some plastic material. Soon after a motorbike passes by and the sound of people chattering. Next a trucks hydraulics releasing air.

Ash the budgie chirping quietly to his flock mates. They are entirely uninterested in his antics so mostly it's just ash, but occasionally the others chime in. Sometimes they take off flying and land again because ash likes getting in their faces and generally being a nuisance.

I tied an olympus ls-5 recorder high in a tree and left it for half an hour. There are still quite a few people around and you can hear their voices alongside the birds which are getting ready to roost.

Iphone recording of a group of people sitting in a theatre in downtown boston, ma, prior to a film screening. The room was perfectly tempered and acoustically treated, and people were talking at a relatively normal level without echo or reverberation. It was too good to pass up recording it. At first, there are people talking near by, but towards the end, i am further back and the group chatter effect can be noticed in whole.

I was looking for a sound that fitted a dance studio/recording studio reception area so i mixed a few sounds together and came up with this. It has traffic sounds, various bird sounds, indistinct chatter, a thumping bass in the background like in a room on the floor above and a harmony group practising somewhere else in the building. Recorded with a chromebook sitting to the side of my classroom desk. Yes, yes, my 8'th grade class is that immature. A mildly rude, but mostly noisy classroom, with the occasional (controversal) insult, and chattering. The teacher tries to teach the lesson, but struggles with trying to project her voice louder than the class. Eventually, the teacher has repeated twice for the class to calm down, and then the class calms down. May be loop-able with some mild editing in audacity.
