Chips being eaten: this sound is purposefully exaggerated to enhance the disturbing feeling of a person eating too loudly and with an open mouth. You can hear every crunch and saliva pulling between the lips that are munching down on chips. It sounds sloppy and disgusting. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a sound studio. Specifically created to enhance irritation.

I hereby declare this sound effect of mine public domain, no need to credit me. Just don't sell it or claim it is yours. I'd be curious to know for it is used that is non-obligatory. Enjoy!.

Recorded with an small olympus recorder set on the ground next to an open package of crackers. This medium-large dog has a long mouth (like a echoing cave) and all her teeth, which makes for some hearty crunching sounds. There's a full longer version of her munching on the sleeve of crackers uploaded here tooher collar tags jingle a bit too -sorry about that.

This is the finished version of "scary night". It's not completely what i envisioned, but it was fun to build. This is a compilation using all the files noted under "scary night base layer" and including the following:104720__corsica-s__can-you-keep-my-secret125555__dariachic__low-growling142344__oneirophile__aggressive-guard-dogs157226__11linda__girl-trying-to-cry-quietly217739__michieldb__fox-screaming-in-winter-forest-in-the-night220712__11linda__heavy-breathing-and-texting253460__11linda__you-ll-all-be-dead-without-someone-to-protect-you265304__netpunk__dog-eating-neck-of-goose-chewing-breaking-bonesmost of these have been distorted in some manner.

I eat rice cracker and sip coffee. I tried to make as much noise as possible. This is a test recording with korg mr-1. I recorded this sound at 1bit/2. 8mhz (dsd) and converted it into 24bit/44. 1khz (pcm). If you could listen to the raw dsd file, you might think you were here with me. Unfortunately, i can't upload dsd version, so i chose 24bit pcm for keeping better quality. Reality was lost to some extent, but i think you can feel the touch of the original one.

I needed a very specific brand of lollipop with a chocolatey center for a short film i'm working on. None of my library crunch fx sounded right, so i chomped into one myself. Just call me mr. Owl. Recorded on an iphone, about an inch from my face. Just a single crunch edited to have a little extra tail. The effect came out as a satisfying crunch with decent low-mid range. Could be pitched down a bit to act as bones, or maybe a small to medium sized tree branch. I may record more of these after i visit the dentist next.

As i heared our doog eating the crunchy vegetables, i quick got my zoom h4n to record it. The maybe some noise of a fly or traffic in the background, but the internal mics were very close to the food-bowl. I had some issue when i came very close as the dog tried to eat as fast as possible, so i prefered to lay the recorder on the ground and kept away with my arm so the eating could be more relaxed. But the dog gobbled anyway in a fast way. Enjoy the soundscape. Maybe use it for asmr ;-).

One friday night, me and my partner were eating dinner, and we both heard a click. She perks up, "what was that?" and i said "the dryer is running, probably something in it" and she goes "no it was inside" (our dryer is like a back door outside porch kinda deal). I noticed it came from inside as well, in the kitchen, but mentally shrugged it off because lasagna. But now i know she heard it inside too, so i walk in the kitchen where the sound came from and don't see anything moving or on. I took note of where my cats were in case anything was being chewed on: one in bed, one on the couch, they aren't chewing on anything or are even near the clicking sound, so back to dinner. About 45 minutes later, dinner is wrapped up, my partner is asleep and i start turning off all the lights. When i turn the kitchen lights off, there is a light that stays on in the corner. I have a car battery recharger there: it has usb ports in case ya lose power, charger cables, and a flashlight attached on the side. . . . Which is on. I turn it off: exact same click that i heard earlier. Do i have a ghost?.
