Recorded with the mic on the rear bumper of a 1974 mgb sportscar. Start, drive off, up through gears, steady state, and shut-off. Very throaty period correct exhaust note appropriate for british sports cars from the 30's through 80's. Recorded outside of car so would work best for driving follow shots, drive by's, or car entering/leaving a scene. Think of a fighter pilot driving up in his mg car to the airfield in battle of britain; yeah, that kind of scene!.

Recorded with my squire tele and squire bass into the focusrite interface. The guitar went through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting with editing done in reaper. This is something that my on-line teacher has me playing. I took up the guitar again and even though this is a short piece it has a certain beauty to it. It should be played faster, but i think it also sounds nice at this tempo. The recording has a hiss and i don't know why as my recorder is a yamaha pocketrak. I tried editing out the hiss in sound forge but it also took away some of the music sound, so this is it as recorded. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :^).

I created these perfect drum/beat loops using my yamaha psr463 synthesizer, my zoomr8 portable studio, hydrogen, electric drums and audacity. This is a piece i put together using maestro for android. It took me about 90 minutes to do. If you haven't heard of this app, you need to take a look at it if you are a musician. The voices are pretty good in the free version (which i used for this), but i've read that the premium voices are better. Still, some of the free ones are really good. Use this piece as you want, but i would appreciate credit for it if you're going to post the work you do. Please leave comments on anything i've done here.

I recorded it in 24-bit wav, and didn't want to process the sound (it would inevitably add some noise and distortion) - this way we minimize the amount of processing, and we can keep highest possible quality. Created for fun to document the first test launch of the (fictional) falkon8 space rocket to take humanity to the rings of saturn. After the countdown the engines start. During liftoff, ground control engineers talk to the pilots to help keep the rocket on the right course. The launch crew and pilots are talking in a particular regional northeastern italian dialect. The mission launched from the san marco platform, italian "luigi broglio" space center. This is the sound of a sheet metal that is under high tension, hitting it with a small key produced a laser fire type of sound. Recorded using a contact mic as the area is surrounded by a lot of noise, the contact mic cut out everything. The recording was taken at my place of work so it would be easy should anyone require the "shots" to be re-recorded at a different tempo. 96khz 24bit mono-mix.

I'm currently working on some musical ideas for a good friend's cartoon series and thought i'd upload this little experiment with an old vinyl of some mozart. I recorded the output of my deck and messed with the speed and pitch, as well reversing the audio and adding some distortion and other effects once it was in my daw. Single note sampled from a deckard's dream diy analogue synthesizer that i built myself. Deckard's dream (ddrm) is an 8-voice analogue synthesizer designed by black corporation and inspired in the classic yamaha cs-80. The ddrm (and cs-80) is all about live performance and expressiveness via aftertouch and modulations. Therefore, sampling the notes like i did here does not make much sense and by no means makes justice to the real thing. Nevertheless, i thought it could still be useful and would be nice to share. Synthesizer: deckard's dream (ddrm)factory preset #: 14note: c-1midi note: 0midi velocity: 16.

A slinky spring toy stretched out and plucked once from the end, recorded with a zeppelin design labs cortado impedance-matched piezo contact microphone. The resulting recording is a classic spring-based sci-fi "laser sound" with a massive, lengthy, rumbling decay tail. This was recorded at 24 bit 96 khz. In addition to its use as a sound effect, this waveform works well inside a convolution reverb as an offbeat spring reverb impulse response, provided one has the processor power and ram to support a 2 minute 13 second convolution. The cortado's bass response is exceptionally large for a contact mic, so high pass filtering may be desired if used as an impulse response.

Bartolome calatayud was born in 1882 on the island of mallorca, received in 1899 the diploma of honor 1st class granted by the workers instructive center palma for his "superior musical knowledge in guitar playing". Although less famous in the classical guitar world, bartolome calatayud has left much enjoyable and exciting music written for classical guitarists of all abilities. He taught many pupils in majorca during his final years. He died in 1973 at the age of 91.

Here is a simple yet usefull reel for your morphagene. I sampled various noise source from various modules to be used into my shared system, as this instrument does not contain any classic one. This reel is arranged like this:splice 1 : left = white noise / right = pink noisesplice 2: left = metallic noise / right = digital noisesplice 3 : left = tuned noise 1 / right = tuned noise 2splice 4 : left = tuned noise 2 / right = tuned noise 3splice 5 : left = tuned noise 4 / right = tuned noise 5splice 6 : left = tuned noise 6 / right = tuned noise 7splice 7 : left = downsampling noise sweep / right = fluctuating random noise sweep. Most sound comes from the verbos electronics random sampling module. The tuned noises are made of white noise fming the verbos harmonic oscillator, each are one of the eights harmonics being recorded. Enjoy !.

Late august here in the midwest is the time for the loud choruses of insects. This recording, done in the backyard of a small town, features the classic"ebb and flow and swell" of the dusk insects. Since a park is nearby, you also hear in the background the excited voices of kids playing---maybe these youngsters do realize that soon they will be back in school and that the joyous, careful time of summer play and reflection will soon be over. Recording made with my zoom h4n recorder using its built-in internal microphones. The volume was set on 80. Enjoy, and maybe you too can use this sound-file for your own meditation, or simply thinking and taking stock of the accomplishments and blessings during the outdoor seasons and comfortably contemplate the upcoming dark, and bare and gray seasons ahead.

Session 1, find more koto in this sound pack. The recorder wasn't optimally placed in the session 1 recording, so sometimes you might hear some low impact noises transitioning through the table to the recorder. Some eq (low cut) should be able to fix this. We went to my friend's father to record a koto, a traditional japanese zither-like (table harp) instrument, consisting of a large wooden base with long strings for plucking. The strings are tuned in the japanese pentatonic scale, allowing a mystic, mysterious, beautiful harmony. It was my first time ever playing this instrument, so don't expect wonders lol. But i tried to "feel" the instrument as well as i could, working from my limited keyboard and guitar playing skills. I improvised simple patterns, and also tried to work with call and response ideas, and bass notes, plucking the low strings with my fingers, and then plucking the high ones with a pick.
